Last week my friend invited me to go to a shoot out with an organization called Soulection out in L.A. I'm so glad to have said yes. What we did was walk down the L.A. streets with everyone who came (which ended up being about 100-200 people, far more than I had ignorantly assumed!) and photographed whatever we felt caught the spirit of the city and the things that simply intrigued us. I've been to L.A. quite a lot throughout the years, but just walking down these streets in L.A. for photography fueled my artistic fire, I loved it! It was so full of life, with so much going on. Unfortunately I had to leave about an hour after starting but I left with so much inspiration, so many more photo ideas and a desire to return here to do some shoots!
