Masumi aka Asuka Visions

”In Japanese, the word ‘asuka’ means ‘fly bird.’”

This word is representative of Masumi, a Japanese American visual storyteller. Enamoured by the limited existence of humanity within the grand line of history, Masumi ventures worldwide to capture the stories that quietly stamp their mark in time. They focus on sharing the story of agriculture and shoot portraiture primarily on the film medium.

Outside of photography, you can find them sharing bad dad jokes, scuba diving and snorkelling, and conceptualising a new project.
